Well I can't believe I haven't blogged in forever. We just got back from Disneyland, Sea World and Legoland. It was super fun but very tiring. I will post some pics of the trip. I know wish I would have bought the Tower of Terror picture of us. It was funny. My kids were scared. I am the mean mom who tells them its all good and then they were a little scared. That's the only one though that they got scared on. Claire couldn't ride Indiana Jones or the water rafting ride in California Adventure. She loved all the other rides. It was perfect weather at Disneyland but a little cold in San Diego. We also went to Hollywood and Santa Monica. We have never been there so it was good to go somewhere new. The kids are out of school and really haven't had a chance to get to bored. Jordan is at girls camp this week in Heber. She was super nervous. I hope is doing OK. I am going up Thursday night to testimony meeting. I felt bad that I couldn't go the whole time but I couldn't take more work off. The reason I needed to go was because I am now the YW President in our new ward. I don't know any of the girls and only one of my counslers. So it will be fun to get to know them. We are done with the soccer season but Kate and Jordan are praciting for the Cache cup in July. With 3 kids playing soccer this spring it got a little crazy. Jordan turned 12 in May. It blows my mind to have a child that old because I don't feel like I am that old except when I see all the wrinkles and then I remember. We had an Amazing Race birthday party. It was tons of fun. We had them going all over town. I am going to try and keep up on this better for my own interest in writing things down that we are doing because I can't seem to remember anything anymore.

I can't believe I haven't posted since August. Time just goes so fast. I saw a sign Saturday that said there is only 51 shopping days left until Christmas I about threw up. That is way to fast for me. I will briefly recap the last few months.(if can even remember) We went to Idaho camping over Labor day with some friends it was alot of fun but I forgot my camera so I don't have any pics. I came home on Sunday to teach my first Relief Society meeting lesson. I taught about how we come through adversity and what we can gain. I talked about my family who have all been through so much and I read some of my mom's journal. I cried the whole time. But I am glad its over. I went to Bear lake with my cousins for a few days the first of Oct. Sorry no pics from that either. It was lots of fun, I saw a baby moose and its mom on my morning run. There was also a dead deer on the side of the road. I decided to approach it because it looked like it had antlers so I got closer and it scared the pee out of me because it all the sudden sat up and opened its eyes. Later we tried to see it and it was gone. Then the next day I stumbled upon it in the weeds again and it scared me again. It must of got up and gone a little farther and died in the weeds. We drove to Jackson one day to shop. Its such a beautiful drive this time of year. I was suppose to go elk hunting with Ryan after that but Claire got strep so I had to come home. I am posting some pics of Kates b-day party. She turned 9 and we went to sports academy for a pool party. It was lots of fun and it was nice because they did it all. The cake, games, and goodie bags. So much easier. I am getting lazy when it comes to b-day parties. Plus its so hard the older they get to know what to do. I am also posting pics of Jordan and I running a 5k. She wanted to do it because it was a fundraiser for drug awareness. She did so good. I really pushed her. We ran it 36 min. Which I thought was good for her because she hardly ever runs. I am so proud of her.

This is my niece Jennifer. Its her birthday today. Heavenly Father took her back 3 years ago. I miss her bright smiling face and the way she always made me smile! She was always so caring and was worried about everyone else. She has 3 amazing children who look just like her. I feel like this is the only way to express how much I miss her and can't wait to see her again. I love you so much! -Till we meet again-

Summer 09

Well here are a few pics of summer. It went by so fast. Jordan and Katelyn played soccer and Josh played t-ball. Katleyn took 2nd place in the cache cup. It was her first year so she was excited. We went camping, to Cherry Hill, Lagoon, and this last weekend we hiked to white pine lake and stayed the night. It snowed while were hiking out on Saturday. I couldn't believe it snowed in August.

Moab

Ryan and I went to Moab this June with our friends Brittni and Shad Roundy. It was so fun to get away. Ryan and I haven't left our kids for awhile. We went river rafting, 4-wheeling and hiked into the Delicate Arch. It is so beautiful there I can't believe I have never been and its in Utah.

Taylor Swift!

The girls and I went to see Taylor Swift. As you can see we were pretty far away but we had so much fun. We went with our friends the Perkins. Its always great to have a girls night out especially to such a great concert. She does have a lot of anger towards her ex boyfriends.

Yellowstone and The Tetons!!

We went to Yellowstone and the Tetons over memorial weekend. We had so much fun. The kids loved it. But by the time we got home I was a little tired of all of us in the truck together. We drove over 800 miles throughout the trip. This is Inspiration Falls at Jenny Lake in the Tetons. We rode the boat across and then hiked about a 1/2 mile to the falls when we were almost there it started to rain. None of the kids had jackets and as you can see Jordan wore flip flops. We tried to tell her you can'r hike in them and she wouldn't listen to us. I think she learned her lesson hiking in snow and mud isn't fun in flip flops.

This is Jackson Lake. We stayed here. It is breathtaking with the Tetons in the background. I would recommend this is a place everyone needs to see.

Muttin Bustin!

This last Saturday was health days and Josh got to do Muttin Bustin! He was so excited he has wanted to do it for so long. He was the first one to go and didn't stay on long but he thought he won because they gave him a $2 bill. He was sure a cute cowboy with his hat, belt buckle and boots.

Its taken a little over a month to do but I am so glad its done. I now know that Ryan and I will never be able to build a house. To much craziness. While I was in Mesquite they laid the hardwood floor in my kitchen, entry and hall. We re textured the walls, put up new trim, painted, new mantel, carpet, refinished my paino and got all new furniture. I am very excited to have a new room but now I want the rest of the house done but that will be awhile because remodeling ain't cheap. Thanks to my friend Janna who helped me decorate I am not talented in that area.

A little health scare and new calling!

The week after I came home from Mesquite I had a dr appt. I had been having bad cramps and not really feeling very well. When I had my exam the dr found a mass on my uterus. He ran some blood tests to check for cancer and 2 days later I had an ultrasound. I was pretty worried for a few days but when I had the ultrasound they found my ovary was filling with blood. So the dr just gave my some pills to help my have a period in hopes maybe it would release it. I have still been having cramps but not as bad. I am so thankful it wasn't anything serious. For a few days I was freaking out a little. That same few days I got a new calling in the relief society. I am the Secretary. I am really sad to be leaving young woman. I was only in for a year and I had some great girls. I will really miss them.

Sorry Its been awhile I've been busy with remodling, soccer and many other things. I want to start with my trip to mesquite in April. I went with my cousins it was so much fun and so warm. We went to Vegas one day and played bingo every night. I actually won $500 the first night at Bingo I was so excited. Its always fun to be with these crazy cousins of mine and just to get away for a few days.

This weekend we went to Layton and stayed the weekend and went to my niece Haley's wedding. It was so fun. My whole family stayed the night before. It was crazy with about 20 little kids running the halls I can't believe we didn't get kicked out. But they had so much fun together. The reception was at the hotel so it was nice to just be right there and then Ryan could take the kids to our room for a break. Luckily my sister-in-law Jen lives in Clearfield so she watched our kids while we went to the temple. We also got to go with Jen and her kids to Chucky Cheese. It was a great weekend and then I woke up this morning to 6 inches of snow!!! I hate winter. Will it ever end?

We took a trip to Hardware Ranch with the Johnsons on Saturday. There was hardly any elk they have all gone back because it has been so warm and there isn't any snow. But it was still fun.

I can't beleive it is the end of Januray. Where did it go? Although I am happy to get closer to spring. We had a great Christmas. Ryan spoiled me agian this year. I got a watch, clothes, running shoes and a new backpack for backpacking.

Claire wanted Dora toys this year and when she opened her first gift and it wasn't a dora toy she wasn't pleased. She soon figured out she needed to open more and then we couldn't stop her.

Katelyn got an Ipod this year and a rock tumbler she has wanted for ever.

Jordan got a digital camera, electric scooter, and too many clothes.

Another broken bone!

Well here's Claire with her second broken bone. She broke her leg when she was 1 and now she has a broken collarbone. She fell off the back of the couch on Monday night. Ryan took her to the ER at 2 am they x-rayed it and its broken in 2 places. They sent her home and then Tuesday morning I got a call saying she needed a cat scan because it could be closing off one of her arteries. Ryan took her back because I had all the day care kids. I felt bad I couldn't go because they had to put her out because she was freaking out. Ryan said when she was coming out of it she just kept saying "swiper no swiping." Maybe she is watching to much Dora. But luckily no blockage so no surgery and no pins. Now she has to be careful for 3 weeks. If anyone knows Claire she doesn't slow down so this could get very interesting. At least we slept a little better last night. She can't get very comfortable and so she always crying out in pain. I feel so bad for her.

Shopping, shopping and more shopping!!

I am tired. Who know shopping was so exausting. I got up Friday morning at 4:00 and went to wal-mart. What a mess. I ran into Ted and Cortni and then we finished our shopping together. I got a lot done. Friday I also went to twilight. It was pretty good. Some very odd parts though. The rest of the weekend included more shopping, movies and a much needed nap. Now its Monday and I have a million things to get done and watch kids for the next 6 more hours. I have to say its great to have the tree up and I love Christmas.

These are my cute cousins. We get together a few times a year sometimes just for lunch and sometimes overnight. We met in Layton its the middle ground. Some come from Ogden and some from Heber city. They are so much fun. I love hanging out with them. Only one cousin was missing she lives in California so she didn't make it up this time. We missed you Renae!!

Isn't it like 20 degrees outside. Well Claire doesn't seem to know that. She is so cute but what a stinker. She never has clothes on and everyday for the last week I find her outside with no clothes on. I am at a loss. One of the many challenges I face with her. She colored all over my walls with black marker last week. I guess heavenly father knew to send her last.

Halloween

We had fun trick or treating. I don't know about anyone else but I was so glad it stayed light a little longer plus the weather was awesome. We went around a few blocks then went to some family houses. As you can see katelyn wanted to be a scary witch I thought she was a cute witch. Jordan wanted to go goth. I told her I would let her if she never ever dressed that way again. Claire was suppose to be a grape and every time I told someone that she would yell at me and say no she was going to be a princess. Well she won because I was in TJ maxx on Thursday night and I found the dress for $4.00. So she got her wish. Josh was iron man and has been ever since Friday night. We did talk him into taking it off for church. It was a great Halloween.

Volleyball

Jordan had her last volleyball game this weekend. she played so well. Its amazing in the last few years. They won all but 2 games. I tried to get a picture of her serving but my camera is a piece of crap and I was to slow. she is an excellent server. I hope she sticks with volleyball. But I am glad its over because winter soccer will be starting. Thats about all we did on Saturday because I haven't been feeling to hot for a few days.

Well I can't believe I am going to say this. Friday we went to High School Musical 3 and I loved it. Of course it gives my girls a distorted view on high school but it was good. I really didn't think they could out do #2 but they did. So if you have a girl and are dreading going it will be ok. On Saturday Ryan took us to breakfast which is always fun because I love waffles with strawberries and cream. Saturday night Ryan and I went to a murder mystery party. It was way fun. Thanks Kerrie, Jana and Leslie. I posted a few pics of some of the people. We were all assigned someone to be in the killers international. Ryan was an Indian and I was a mafia assasin(sp?)by night and a corp. lawyer by day. We had tons of fun. And yes of course Sunday I went to church and then laid around all day. I watched space camp with the kids anyone remember that movie. It was fun.

A day at the Zoo!

I decided to take the kids to the zoo on Friday since I took the day off. We went with my friend Kendra and her kids. What were we thinking 6 kids and 2 adults. It took us forever to get to the zoo because of course my kids get car sick so Claire and Katelyn both threw up on the way.

I Also had to stop at the cookie outlet and bought way to many cookies. We stopped at Red Robin for lunch which is my favorite. So buy the time we got to the zoo I was tired. But it was a beautiful day and the kids loved it. Saturday was busy I spent most the day cleaning the car out because of the cookies and throw-up. Ryan was deer hunting all day. Maybe that's why I hate fall. Because Ryan is gone a lot doing what he loves and waits all year to do. I love Sunday Its the only day I sit around and get to do nothing. We had a great lesson in young women. I love the girls. We played monopoly with the kids on Sunday night. They loved it. They all love money so much they had fun counting it every 2 minutes. Its funny how your personality comes out. Ryan bought everything and ended up with no money. Katelyn didn't want to spend hers and neither did I. Jordan was like Ryan and enjoyed spending hers. Well now its Monday and the house is a mess and all these kids have a ton of energy.

Ryan shot a spike elk on Saturday. We went to see it yesterday. He was way excited its his first elk. Josh thought it was cool but the girls didn't so much. We had fun even though it snowed on us while we were there. Dad won't be home until Thursday. The kids miss him tons they cry every night for him. I miss him the most, Claire is going to put me over the edge. She is such a spit fire. She is into everything and she doesn't take crap from nobody. I am hoping she settles down a little soon.

Katelyn's Big Day!

Katelyn was baptised on Saturday. I was a wonderful baptism. She was so excited and Ryan did an awesome job. Thanks to everyone who came it meant a lot. I always have a hard time at milestones like this. I really miss my mom and dad. Its hard to not have my mom here to talk to.

The rest of the day was spent at volleyball and soccer games. Jordan won both games. We are now in 2nd place in soccer. She is having tons of fun with this team and they have been very welcoming to her.

This week Ryan is getting ready for Elk hunting. He will leave on Friday and be gone a week. I still haven't decided if I am going on Friday for the weekend. I love to go but its a lot of work to someone to stay with the kids and make plans to be gone and them taken all ove the place.

Ryan picked our peaches yesterday I think we have a bushel and a half. I am going to atempt to bottle them. This is another time I wish my mom was here. Wish me luck.

Its already a busy week I really don't know when I'll get it done. Not tonight I have young women. Maybe Thursday. Have a great week!!

It was Katelyns Birthday this weekend. It was a fun weekend. She had a few friends sleep over Friday night but before they came we took her to get her ears pierced. She was so excited. On Saturday we had a vooleyball game and a soccer game. Jordan won the volleyball game and we tied the soccer game. They played so hard. 2 players were injured and one of our best players broke her arm earlier in the week. Plus it was pouring raining. Kate had another birthday party to go to and then we went to the fun park and to Iggys for dinner. When we got home Jenny and the boys, Mike, Kendra, Chuck and Kristi came for cake. Katelyn got a electric scotter. She loves it. She rode it all day Sunday. I was pretty lazy on Sunday. I did make a couple of peach pies because a friend brought me some peaches. I hope our peaches are done soon it tasted so good. Now its Monday and its raining. So we can't go out to play. What am I going to do all winter? These kids have so much energy. I hope everyone else had a great weekend.

Well he's only been gone 3days but we always miss him. He had tons of fun. I posted some of his pictures. He did come back with some big blisters on his feet. He hiked up to union falls in yellowstone which is about a 7 mile hike. Friday night I took the kids to get their pictures taken. They turned out great. I posted them below. We had a busy but relaxing day Saturday. I got up early and went and did my shopping in logan. Then Jordan, Josh,Claire and I went on a run/bike ride. We ended up at Bruce and Julies and Cortni and Ted were there. I did their P90X workout with them. Lets just say I woke up Sunday feeling a few muscles in my abs I didn't know I had. Then I took the kids to a movie and we went to buy Kate a new dress. It was a good day. We were suppose to go to Tremonton for a soccer game but it was cancelled. I was glad it left the day to just have fun.

Well I am so glad its Friday. I always am, these kids wear me out! although I have a million things to do tomorrow that I can't get done during the week. Jordan tied her game on Wednesday. She played really well. She is liking this team and playing so much better. She also started volleyball this week. So its going to be crazy for a few weeks playing both. Katelyn will be turning 8 next week I can't believe it. She will be baptized on the 27th. Ryan left for backpacking in yellowstone. It was suppose to snow last night I hope he stayed warm. Well don't have a lot of time we clean the toy room on Fridays and it takes a while to get the kids to get it done. I have to bribe them pretty good.

Over the weekend a friend talked me into starting a blog because I can't remember anything. So even if no one reads it I can remember things about my kids. Well we have had a fun summer I added a few pics from the summer camping, lava hot springs, cherry hill, backpacking to whitepine lake and bear lake. Now our lives are consumed by soccer games and homework. Jordan is on a better team this year. They tied their first game, lost the second and won the third. I don't have to much going on its Monday and I am tending kids they are all running around screaming. We had to come inside because while I was watering my flowers they started to pull off all my peaches off the tree and throw them at each other. Wow 5 little boys what they won't think of.
